Christian Overcomers About Us

The purpose of the Christian Overcomers ministry is to share God's love with physically disabled people. This is done through a holistic approach which addresses the physical, social, and spiritual needs of physically disabled individuals The Overcomer's program serves many great people every year.

Statistics indicate that one person in ten has a disability of some type. Despite this fact, most people do not come in contact with disabled people in their everyday lives, and tend to avoid disabled individuals unless they are a family member. As a result people with disabilities often feel isolated.

By providing a strong sense of belonging, along with a sense of spiritual strength, Christian Overcomers helps break down barriers between disabled individuals, their families, and the rest of the community.

Incorporated in 1977 as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, Overcomers offers social activities, and recreational programs designed to stimulate and challenge the minds and bodies of people who are physically disabled.
